If you have a new, non-emergency health concern, it can be hard to know where to start. Vitalis Wellness Center offers same-day sick visits and walk-ins in Kissimmee Monday through Thursday, 9 AM–2 PM, subject to daily capacity. Call 888-348-7363 before coming in to confirm availability and current testing options.

What concerns can I ask about?

Patients can request an evaluation for common sick-visit concerns such as urinary symptoms or possible UTI, STI/STD symptoms or exposure questions, fever, flu or COVID symptoms, cough, sore throat, or possible strep. The provider reviews your symptoms and medical history and decides whether an examination, testing, treatment, follow-up, or referral is appropriate. Testing and treatment depend on clinical findings and what is available that day.

A walk-in visit is for non-emergency care. If you have severe trouble breathing, persistent chest pain or pressure, new confusion, or another emergency warning sign, call 911 or seek emergency care. The CDC lists additional warning signs for respiratory illnesses in its respiratory illness guidance.

What happens during a sick visit?

Your clinician will ask when symptoms started, what has changed, relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and possible exposures. They may recommend an exam or testing when clinically appropriate and available. Similar symptoms can have different causes, so a visit does not guarantee a specific test, diagnosis, prescription, or treatment.

How to prepare

  • Write down when symptoms began and what makes them better or worse.
  • Bring your medication and allergy list, including over-the-counter products.
  • Bring prior test results or relevant records if you have them.
  • Call ahead to confirm the clinic can see you and ask about current testing options.
